However, I decided to post something that has been in my head for some time, a list of drawing books that have helped me progress. Just look for them on Amazon if any of them catch your eye.
1. How to Draw Manga: Bodies and Anatomy
I've never ever regretted buying this book. Although it has no step-by-step guides, the reference pictures are great and it definitely helped me improve my figure drawing. It describes the position and purpose of most of the muscles and bones in the body and has pictures of them performing various tasks.
2. Wizard: How to Draw
Although I borrowed this one from my boyfriend, it has taught me a lot. Anyone interested in comic book art should definitely check this one out. Real comic artists write the articles and tutorials in this book and teach you everything from anatomy and sketching to inking and sound effects. Love the articles about drawing women and sex appeal.
3. The Beginner's Guide to Drawing People
My newest addition.
Along with those three, I have some books about cartoon drawing and animation, how to draw rainforest and grassland animals and how to draw cats. These three are my favorites so far though.
Please keep checking for new stuff.
